The Killers Have Just Dropped A Brand New Single

American rock band The Killers have surprised fans with a brand new single today.

The new track 'Land Of The Free' is a very different sound for the band.

Politically driven, the rock ballad hears the band channel Bruce Springsteen. It includes big choirs, piano and Brandon Flowers signature vocals. Its honest and difficult subject matter is getting strong reactions from fans across the world.

In a heartfelt, honest post on the band's official facebook page, Flowers addresses the themes and issues addressed in the song saying; "I love our country but we can do better".

The single was released with a short film, produced by the band and Spike Lee.
