The Offspring Say They Had To Relearn Songs When They Decided To Play Smash In Full

The Offspring are playing their legendary 1994 album Smash in full at Good Things Festival in Melbourne and Sydney this weekend.

Appearing on The Project last night, guitarist Noodles — real name Kevin Wasserman — says that the band had to relearn a few tracks off the album to play it at the gigs.

“Smash was a big enough record we do most of the songs off it on a nightly basis, or at least half of them on a nightly basis,” Noodles said.

“But there’s a couple songs we never really played until about four or five years ago when we started doing the record as a whole.

“There’s a song called Something To Believe In off the record that we had to go and learn how to do it.”

Good Things is on today in Melbourne and tomorrow in Sydney.
