Mark "MG" Geyer has issued a timely reminder about Jack de Belin's sexual assault charge after news that he would be free for selection for the Dragons.

The 27-year-old yesterday pleaded not guilty to a charge of aggravated sexual assault, with magistrate Roger Clisdell adjusting his bail conditions to no longer require he report to police every Monday and Friday.

It means that de Belin is now free to travel for interstate matches, which many have slammed as unfair.

But MG has pointed to the case of Brett Stewart as a cautionary tale, advising fans that "the right outcome will prevail".

Listen below:

"These allegations are extremely serious, and on the highest of scales," MG said on Triple M's The Rush Hour with MG

"If found guilty, he'll have his day in court. He'll be dealt with."

He added: "Mud sticks."

But co-host Liam Flanagan pointed out that "there will be a section of the community who argue Jack de Belin should not be playing".
