The Secret to Unlocking Fifita and Avoiding Unfair Comparisons

The comparison has been made before and it has come up again – Is David Fifita the new Dave Taylor?

Titans fans will remember the stint ‘The Coal Train’ had at the club between 2013-2015. Brought in on big money the powerful forward never quite lived up to expectations, leaving the club one year shy of fulfilling his four-year deal.  

Speaking on The Rush Hour with Leisel, Liam and Dobbo former teammate and Rabbitohs premiership player Ben Te’o told listeners he was aware of the comparisons but explained how he can distance himself from them and it’s not good news for the Gold Coast

“I think Fifita really needs to get into a disciplined environment, and I don’t know if he’s getting that right now at the Titans”
