The Margaret River Dairy Company is inviting cheese lovers to join a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS official attempt for the world’s Largest cheese tasting event on Sunday 25 February. The official record is measured by the number of people attending a cheese tasting event at a single location.

The minimum amount of people needed to beat for the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title is 250 people, however  Thiago Bacellar the Margaret River Dairy Company Production Manager has said that they were aiming for a significantly higher number.

There will be three of the most popular cheeses for the tasting including Brie, Original Club Cheddar and Original Farmhouse. Also there'll have free entertainment after the official tasting and a gift for everyone who comes along to help break the record.

To help Margaret River Dairy Company set a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for cheese tasting, you must register online before the day. Kids are welcome to participate but everyone must be happy to eat all three cheeses, otherwise they will not be counted.

The GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title attempt will start at 10am sharp and official activities will be completed by 11am. Participants are asked to arrive from 9.30am to be ready for the action.  To register visit: www.cheesetasting.com.au. The event will be held at the Margaret River Dairy Company, 8063 Bussell Highway, Metricup.
