Warrandyte four-piece The Teskey Brothers have kicked off 2019 in the right way.

They’ve just dropped their new single Right For Me.

It’s as funky as all get-out, and it’s easy to see why it’s been such a hit with fans when played during their recent live sets.

Lead singer Josh Teskey, talking about the new track, says “It's basically a song about being smitten for someone more than you should, considering you don’t know them very well."

"It's sort of a love-at-first-sight feeling.  Or the feeling you’ve had a spell cast on you, or a love potion. Or the feeling you’ve been hit by one of cupid’s arrows. Or all those metaphors put together.”

The band’s debut album, Half Mile Harvest, made waves both in Australia and overseas, so this song offers an insight into what the next album might sound like.
