The Twist In The Titans “Worldwide” Search For A New Coach

The Gold Coast Titans have their man, but questions are starting to be asked about just how exhaustive their "worldwide" search really was.

Justin Holbrook was yesterday all but confirmed as the Titans coach, with only negotiations prolonging the inevitable.

However our NRL insider Dobbo says that there was a bit of a twist with the "shortlisted" names the Titans put forward to be interviewed.

It appears that the Titans had been gunning for Holbrook the whole time and have certainly achieved their objective, but no doubt answers will be sought as to why the public were led to believe there was a longer list of candidates.

An announcement from the Titans is now expected to be made this afternoon.
