Mildura Rural City Council have shut the gate on the Water Play Park.
The closure is the result of a non-compliant water test result.
The routine test revealed the water quality of the park was outside of the parameters set out by the Public Health and Wellbeing Regulations 2009.
Council is now working to treat the water, as well as the equipment and filters used in operation at the park in an effort to return the quality of water to an acceptable level.
Officials have put up fencing to ensure no one uses the park while the water is being tested and treated.
The Park will remain closed to the public until further notice.
Council says ensuring public safety is their number one priority.
