There’s A New Way To Wake Up On 2GO In 2018 - Mandy & Akmal!

Mandy Coolen returns to Breakfast radio on The Central Coast, after two years, to join one of Australia’s much loved comedians Akmal Saleh.

The pair will give Coasties a new way to wake up in 2018 with Mandy & Akmal kicking off on 107.7 2GO from January 15th from 5:30am – 9am! Mandy first moved to the Central Coast 10 years ago to work in radio.

Over the past two years she has taken a break from the airwaves learning how to crotchet and make mulled wine. With that out of her system, she is pumped to be joining one of the nicest people in comedy, Akmal, and the whole SCA team to have some fun on 2GO Breakfast for 2018.

Mandy said, “I’m happier than a butcher’s dog to be back with SCA, chatting to Coasties again and starting the day with one of the nicest blokes in Aussie comedy. I can’t wait to hear more about Akmal’s genuine inability to ‘adult’ and have some fun in 2018.”

He is one of Australia’s most respected, successful and accomplished comics who displays an incredible ability to deal with hot topics in a hilarious and non-offensive way.

Akmal has a fascinating past. Originally immigrating to Australia from Egypt with his family nearly 30 years ago.

Akmal said, “I’ve been sleeping in for most of my life, when suddenly I woke up one afternoon and thought I really need to wake up to myself about 5.30am to be exact, so I joined 2GO breakfast.”
