Sportsbet has apologised to some unhappy punters after a story emerged over their AFL disposal markets over the weekend.

THE LATEST ON THE SPORTSBET 40-DISPOSAL STORY:

The betting company voided a number of bets on multis for no player to reach 40 disposals across all nine AFL games in round 10.

Punters would have racked up as much as a reported $9 million on the multi, which paid at 120 to one, which were all voided on Friday and the odds changed.

Sportsbet said an "incorrect price" was offered on all the bets.

No player reached 40 disposals in round 10 - the highest was Brad Crouch with 39 - with punters claiming they are owed thousands of dollars on what would have been a winning bet had it not been voided.

"(There are) suggestions that Sportsbet offered odds of 120 to one on Friday, which they reneged and rescinded on, for no player over the weekend to get 40 plus disposals," Tom Browne said on Triple M's Hot Breakfast on Monday morning.

"There's a lot of punters considering a class action this morning."
