Queensland Ambulance officers have rushed to the Cairns Lagoon to reports of a near drowning this morning.
It's been revealed one patient was rushed to the Cairns Hospital around 11am.
A spokesperson from QAS says the patient is in a stable condition.
It follows a fatal incident late last year, when a 7 year old boy from Japan, who was here in holidays died.
He'd come to Cairns for a holiday with his family on December 22nd, but died when his life support was switched off the next day.
