It's been an astonishing 40 years on-air here at Triple M Sydney but to have Doug Mulray back on Sydney breakfast to celebrate was truly the icing on the cake.

Uncle Doug is an icon of radio, not just here at Triple M but across the industry. And boy, does he have the stories to prove it.

From tigers in the elevator to handcuffing new business advisors to the newsroom, Mulray let us in on some epic yarns from his time here at Triple M.

And that's not even touching the reason why he walked past the boardroom in just his underpants. We'll let him tell you that one himself.
