Tinder has teamed up with AEG Worldwide and Live Nation to introduce 'Festival Mode', letting Tinder singles add participating festivals to their profiles.

That way, they can match with other Tinder users attending the same event.

Tinder says “Users will have access to their event-specific badges approximately three weeks prior to the start of each event”, so you can plan your festival hookups in advance.

Tinder CMO, Jenny Campbell reckons Tinder is essential for single festival-goers.

“We consistently see a spike in Tinder use as tens of thousands of music fans come together, so we wanted to create a new experience that makes it easier to connect with other concert-goers before even setting foot on festival grounds."

“We’ve partnered with some of the biggest names in the entertainment and events industry to make that happen, and we couldn’t be more excited to help Tinder users find their crowd during these events for the rest of 2019.”

While it's not available in Australia just yet, it's set to be announcing participating festivals in the coming weeks - including an exclusive partnership with one of Australia's biggest festivals.
