More bad news on the injury front for the Tigers with ruckman Toby Nankervis ruled out for up to two months.

Nankervis battled a groin injury on Sunday and failed to play out the game against Fremantle.

Richmond released a statement on his condition.

"Richmond ruckman Toby Nankervis has a high-grade right adductor injury and is expected to miss six to eight weeks."

"Nankervis suffered the injury in a ruck contest during the first half of the Tigers' 25-point win over Fremantle at Optus Stadium on Sunday."

Young midfielder Jack Ross is also set for a stint on the sidelines after hurting his ankle, but no timeframe has been set.
