Today's The Last Day To Opt Out Of My Health Record

You have until midnight tonight to opt out of having a My Health Record created.
Around 1.1 million Australians have already opted out of the controversial scheme, and those who don’t will automatically have a My Health Record created.
Your record includes basic government-related medical information linked to you such as prescriptions that have been dispensed and consultations or tests connected to Medicare.
However there are many concerns about the program, with many saying the private information could be prone to exploitation and abuse.
If you already have a My Health Record, and decide you don’t want one anymore, you can cancel it. Follow the instructions here to cancel your record.
