Todd Greenberg has confirmed that Ben Barba's deregistration will stand, saying that there is "no place for him" in the sport.
The NRL CEO delivered the damning condemnation at a press conference on Tuesday morning where he doubled down on his earlier comments about acting in the "strongest terms" when it comes to violence against women.
"I'm not going to call for a [worldwide ban] but there's no place for him," Greenberg continued. "It's time for Ben Barba to find a new vocation.
"We're not asking you to play, it's a privilege."
