Hot Breakfast chief footy reporter Tom Browne says that the AFL are investigating the video of Jack Watts snorting a white powder off a woman’s chest at Oktoberfest.
A video showing Watts snorting a white powder off a woman’s chest at the iconic German beer festival went viral overnight, although suggestions that the substance was cocaine were quickly hosed down.
The powder is a legal substance that is popular at Oktoberfest called ‘Wiesn Pulver”, and is made up of menthol, sugar and glucose.
Browne says that its legal status won’t necessarily save Watts from an AFL sanction, however.
“Port Adelaide have accepted Jack Watts’s version of events, or certainly that’s what’s been relayed to them at this stage,” Browne said.
“But I can tell you this morning the AFL I think is taking a bit of a dim view in relation to the fact that Watts even put himself in this situation and they are investigating and will continue that today,”
