Hawthorn star Tom Mitchell has reportedly been taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg.
In a massive blow ahead of Hawthorn's 2019 campaign, Mitchell went down in an incident at training, according to multiple reports.
Mitchell has starred in his two seasons at Hawthorn, winning last year's Brownlow Medal with 28 votes.
He averaged 35 disposals, eight clearances and six tackles per game across his 2018 campaign.
The 25-year-old has played 111 games across his career at Sydney and Hawthorn, kicking 61 goals.
