Too many West Aussies just don't get it

I want to start this by stressing that there are a lot of good drivers on our roads.

However, when you hear stories across the weekend of what I’m about to share to you, surely you are horrified as well.

Firstly on Good Friday, WA Police reportedly tested 60 people on the roads in Bunbury.

9 of 60 people that were tested at that time tested positive to methamphetamines and/or cannabis.

Then on Sunday, another story that baffles.

A person was pulled over with kids in the car, breath tested and allegedly blew 0.173.

Unfortunately too many West Aussies just do not get it!

Surely it is time for WA drivers to stop thinking so selfishly on our roads

This was all on a long weekend with double demerits, which is obviously not enough of a deterrent for some.

Well sorry, but if you’re going to be stupid enough to speed, if you’re going to be stupid enough to put alcohol or drugs into your system and drive, if you’re going to be stupid enough to endanger other drivers… then cough up your driver's licence and stay off our roads.
