13 years after their last album, it looks like we might be in for some new Tool in 2019.
Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan has confirmed on Twitter that recording has finished for their new album.
The new album is now in the "long process of mixing".
"Final vocals tracked MONTHS ago. Then U.S.-UK-Euro run w #APC. If Tool all inst are tracked, long process of Mixing now," Keenan wrote.
The band hasn't released anything since their 2006 album 10,000 Days.
The follow-up was tipped to be released in 2017 but was delayed, and is now expected to come out sometime this year.
The band is also touring Europe in 2019, kicking off in Berlin in June and ending in Lisbon in July.
