A Toowoomba woman says she’s suddenly living a dream after discovering the life-changing news she’s started the week as a millionaire.

The Darling Downs retiree held one of the three division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3927, drawn Saturday 9 March 2019. Each entry took home a division one prize of $1,316,406.07.

It’s the second division one win for the Darling Downs region so far this year.

A Golden Casket official had the pleasure of making the dream-come-true phone call this morning to break the exciting news to the woman, who wasn’t expecting the surprise.

“Oh my god. I’m in shock!” she exclaimed.

“I think I must be dreaming! I have to pinch myself!

“Oh my god! I can’t believe it!

“Heavens! I’ve never even won a chook raffle before!

“Thank you so much. I’m speechless, I really don’t know what to say.”

The regular Saturday Gold Lotto player said she’d started the week with no idea of her new millionaire status, which would change the rest of her life.

“I never check my numbers on the night of the draw, I usually just check my entries when I get around to it and I hadn’t even thought about checking my entry from Saturday Gold Lotto,” she explained.

“You have no idea, this is just going to make our life so much better.

“My husband can finally stop working. He’ll be able to retire early!
Honestly, this is a miracle, I really can’t believe it!

“He’s had to keep working because we’ve got bills to pay but now he doesn’t have to!

“We can finally relax! This is just incredible. I think I need to have a drink!

“We will pay off the house and pay a few bills.

“We might have a holiday. We haven’t had a holiday probably in 10 years.

“I’d love to just sit by a beach somewhere and relax for weeks.
