Minister for Tourism, Paul Papalia, has made a statement regarding Indian Ocean Drive in the aftermath of yet another tragic accident on the stretch of road that has sadly claimed the lives of three people.

There has been a push to make the Indian Ocean Drive a dual carriageway, similar to the one that links Perth to the south. The Lancelin Facebook page has many respondents debating the merit of such an idea.

No doubt that debate will rage over the ensuing weeks in the aftermath of another tragic incident on Indian Ocean Drive. Drivers are again being urged to stay patient and remain aware not only over the forthcoming holiday season, but at all times on our roads.
