Townsville Couple Start 2019 $250,000 Richer After Scratchie Success

It's the moment that so many of us think will never be a reality, but it's the dream that a local couple are living out. 

The Townsville parents are all smiles after scratching themselves $250,000 richer from a $10 scratchie. 

The winning ticket was purchased at Nextra Willows News inside Willows and was a gift from their children. 

The couple haven't decided what they'll do with all of the money, but initially said that they will be using some for a shopping spree.
