Parramatta Eels legend and Triple M's own Peter Sterling reckons the best way to make the game more transparent is by making players' salaries public.

"I think one day, sooner rather than later, player salaries will be public," Sterlo said on Triple M Footy.
"We wouldn't be talking about brown paper bags and salary cap rorting because it's there in black and white."
In America, it's public knowledge as to what athletes earn during their playing careers.
