Police have charged three people in relation to a home invasion at Millmerran on Monday.

During the invasion five long-arm firearms were stolen, offenders also attempted to steal a second gun safe that contained more weapons.

A 30-year-old man was arrested in Dalby, while a 19-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man were also taken into custody after a search warrant was executed in Cambooya.  Police will allege that firearms were recovered during the search.

Charges against the trio include:

  • enter dwelling with intent to commit an indictable offence
  • deprivation of liberty
  • demanding property with menace
  • armed robbery in company
  • unlawful possession of weapons
