Trio charged over sickening one-punch attack

Three men have been charged over an alleged one-punch attack in Surfers Paradise which was filmed on Snapchat.

The alleged attack in Orchid Avenue at 3.20am on Monday landed a 19-year-old man in hospital, who has since been released.

Shocking footage appears to show him being kicked before being punched in the head from the side, falling to the ground unconscious.

A 19-year-old from Upper Coomera has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and contravening a banning order, while two 21-year-old's from Cootharaba are charged with assault in company.

All three are due in Southport Court on December 8.
