LIVEfree PROJECT

LIVEfree Project, a Newcastle-based non-profit organization, is reaching out to you for urgent support. We need your assistance to sustain our life-saving initiative, the Brighter Beginnings Bus Program, and to find dedicated volunteer bus drivers who can help us make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged children. Your support will enable us to continue providing this simple yet life-saving service to children who are dealing with trauma, home instability, and food scarcity. FREE ART SUNDAYS AT MAITLAND REGIONAL ART GALLERY

Free art Sunday activities for kids of all ages, as a family you can join and get creative! Each activity takes around half an hour to complete. Staffed by Art tutors. All materials are generously provided by Clever Patch. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Art Sunday is made possible with the support of MRAG members. Bookings through Eventbrite.

PRELUDE WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP CHARITY FUNDRAISER 2024

Prelude Australia is hosting its annual Women in Leadership Fundraiser. Join them for an evening of inspiration and empowerment, as they celebrate the achievements of women in a range of fields. FREE ART AT FALLING LEAVES AT LEVEE

When: Saturday 11th May

Where: Riverside Walk, The Levee, Maitland

Back by popular demand, local artist Katrina Holden is bringing her school holiday water colour activity to the Levee Shared Zone for Falling Leaves at The Levee. Taking the iconic Hunter River and The Levee’s iconic buildings as inspiration, she will provide tips and tricks on how to capture landscapes using watercolour and collage techniques. HUNTER MEMORY WALK + JOG

Hunter Memory Walk & Jog is happening again in the Hunter to raise much needed funds and awareness for people living with dementia. Grab some friends get active by jogging or running around Cockle Bay. SRU 2024 CHARITY GALA BALL

Survivors R Us are hosting one of their major fundraising events – their Charity Gala Ball. The night will raise much needed funds in a fight against domestic violence, homelessness and unemployment. Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is a community event that raises funds to make a big difference to those impacted by cancer. Host’s will receive a free kit with everything needed for the event including decorations, a recipe, and Letter of Authority to Fundraise for Cancer Council.
