MAITLAND HERITAGE FEST 2024

Maitland Heritage Fest gets underway this weekend in Maitland.

This annual event is in its fourth year and promises to engage all attendees with a free family day, a heritage dinner, heritage walks, house tours, piano recital and even a vintage fashion parade.

The Free Family Day will be held on Sunday 16th June in the grounds of St Mary's Anglican Church, Grossman and Brough Houses in the historic Church street precinct.

Activities are also found in the Maitland CWA and Maitland-Rutherford Guide Halls.

Activities include historical inspired displays, demonstrations, vintage games, free silhouette cutting and face painting, lost trades and crafts, croquet and much more. Ticketed events commence with the Heritage Fest Dinner on Friday 14th June.

NEWCASTLE WDVCAS ANNUAL WINTER APPEAL

Newcastle Women’s Domestic Violence Court Service is a not-for-profit organization that supports women and their children fleeing domestic and family violence. We are currently holding our Annual Winter Appeal Raffle. All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly towards women in the form of Brokerage. Brokerages consist of, but is not limited to, accommodation, transportation, food, clothing and fuel vouchers, security upgrades including lock changes and cameras.

LIVE free PROJECT

LIVE free Project, a Newcastle-based non-profit organization, is reaching out to you for urgent support. We need your assistance to sustain our life-saving initiative, the Brighter Beginnings Bus Program, and to find dedicated volunteer bus drivers who can help us make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged children. Your support will enable us to continue providing this simple yet life-saving service to children who are dealing with trauma, home instability, and food scarcity. FREE ART SUNDAYS AT MAITLAND REGIONAL ART GALLERY
