Triple Ms Give Me 5 for Kids has officially launched and we're needing your help to raise money for sick kids in FNQ.

We've officially launched the 2019 Give Me 5 for Kids campaign to help with funding for the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation. 

This year is set to be the biggest year yet, with the charity now running for 25 years and last year helping to raise over $31,000 for our local children's ward in Cairns. 

All up GM5FK has raised $25.9 million for the paediatric wards of local hospitals. 

The money raised over the past few years has helped to purchase equipment and items such as;

-Panda Warmer for birth suites. 

-I stat machine

-Weighted Blankets

-Parents beds for paediatrics

-Play equipment for occupational therapy 

Among much more to going towards helping kids in hospital who may be there for one month, up to two years or longer for treatment. 

This year, we want to transform a room in the children's ward into a school room, which will allow the kids to continue their education in a dedicated learning space. 

At present, they're working a tiny room under the stairs (think Harry Potter), so the money will go a long way for them to getting their dream. 

The Mayor's Charity Function will also be on later this year, in conjuction with Cairns Regional Council and Lock Up your Boss will also be a fun way to raise much needed cash, while getting away from the orders of your boss for a while!
