Tuggerah Lakes Police are investigating malicious damage to numerous vehicles over the weekend.

Early yesterday morning, there were 16 incidents reported to police in Bateau Bay, Long Jetty, Shelly Beach and Toowoon Bay. Most of the incidents are believed to have occurred between 3am and 5.30am.

All incidents are similar in nature and occurred in the same time frame.

Most of the incidents involve damage to motor vehicle windows and windscreens, with a further two incidents involving the puncturing of tyres.

Police are appealing for information from anyone that may have been a victim of these offences, may have witnessed offences, or have any information to come forward.

Police are interested in hearing from anyone that may have information to contact Wyong Police Station on 02 43566099, or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
