Police are looking for witnesses to an incident in Ormeau last night.

Four people including two kids were injured when their vehicle left Peachy Rd and crashed through a number of fences around 5:45pm on Sunday.

One of the little girls had no obvious injuries, while the other was in a serious condition with abdominal and facial injuries.

Two adult women were trapped in the car and had to be cut free by fire fighters.

One has serious abdominal injuries, while the other was stable with head pain.

It was believed she had suffered a medical episode.

All four patients were taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital.

Meantime, a cyclist was rushed to hospital in a serious condition earlier that day, after he was found injured at Burleigh Heads.

A passing motorist located the 36-year-old on the corner of Cedar Ct and the Gold Coast Hwy early on Sunday morning.

Police believe he may have lost control of his bike and struck a retaining wall.

Investigators are calling for anyone who might have relevant dashcam footage from either of the incidents to come forward.
