Ute Driver Killed In Hunter Valley Crash
The crash blocked the New England Hwy

A man's lost his life in a head on crash in the Hunter Valley this morning.
His ute collided with a truck on the New England Highway at Parkville north of SCONE just after 8am.
Sadly he died at the scene.
While the 61 year old truck driver has been airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition, suffering leg and back injuries after being trapped in the wreckage.
The highway is blocked in both directions, with diversions in place.
