10,708 vaccination doses were administered at state-run clinics yesterday bringing the state to 86 percent of eligible people over the age of 12, fully vaccinated.
There was a total of 405 people hospitalised on Friday with 77 admitted to ICU, 63 cleared from ICU and 51 people on ventilators.
Despite case numbers still sitting in the early thousands, the rate of hospitalisations is beginning to decrease, along with the number of people admitted to intensive care.
The new numbers come as Victorians get ready to enter their third week of eased restrictions following the state reaching their 80 percent vaccination target last month.
