"Violent"! | Andrew Denton Sledges MG, Says He Needed "Police Protection" To Interview Him

It's always such a treat to have a legend like Andrew Denton in the studio, especially when he does such a cracking job of sledging the Wild Panther.

The Triple M alum had dropped in to The Rush Hour with MG to talk about his love of rugby league and his (very) short-lived footy career when he was asked to describe the time he interviewed MG himself.

In a word? "Violent".

But back to that attempt at playing rugby league. While Denton is a die-hard Souths supporter, he did admit to trying his hand at joining a team during uni, which didn't exactly end well.

"I had a great side-step, I could see a game," the Interview host joked. "I did a really good pass.

"Couldn't tackle for...!"
