Broome swimmer Zac Incerti is headed to Tokyo after qualifying for the Australian Olympic swimming team.

The 24 year old’s dream was in doubt after originally being disqualified at the Olympic trials during his 200 meter freestyle relay for moving on the starting block. Incerti’s team quickly filed an appeal and won.

He placed fifth in the 200 meter freestyle relay, and fourth in the 100 meter freestyle relay, scoring him his very first ticket to the Olympic Games.

Zac Incerti Originally Disqualified From Race:

Incerti was proud to swim alongside his good mate Kyle Chalmers who took first place in both races.

Both swimmers are constantly supporting each other, and rumor has it that they want to be roommates in Tokyo.
