We could soon have a same-day direct coach link from Wagga to Canberra, which would also have the potential to stop in Junee, Cootamundra and Gundagai, depending on the level of public interest.
A trial service could get underway early next year.
NSW Trainlink is conducting public consultation to gather feedback on how many people would use the service, how often they’d like it to run, and where in Canberra it should stop.
Information booths will be popping up this week in all of the communities outside supermarkets and at railway stations.
Alternatively, locals can submit their feedback online here.
