Young Reds No 8 Harry Wilson knows what is at stake when Super Rugby returns in its new incarnation, Super Rugby AU, next Friday night.

The Reds, whose last few months have been tumultuous to say the least will face a Waratahs outfit who will be desperately trying to make amends for the their poor start to 2020 on Friday 3rd July at Suncorp Stadium in front of a possible 10,000 strong crowd, reigniting their fierce rivalry.

Wilson, 20, has enjoyed a strong start to his season before a knee injury saw him sidelined for what could’ve been two months before the COVID shutdown turned the game on its head. The former Australian U20 representative told Dobbo last night on the The Rush Hour with Dobbo that the new competition provides a perfect opportunity to put his hand up in front of national selectors against his competition.

“You get to verse your opponents (for Wallaby gold) every week and it should be bring the best out in most players”
