The second edition of the WA'S FINEST SERIES is finally here! The first volume was an unequivocal success and the sequel is shaping up to promising an excellent night as well.

Tanya Ranson and Kris Nelson are the two headlines, both were nominated for the 2018 WAM Regional Best Artists.

Tanya is currently half way through a four month tour of Australia and is usually based in Broome. She has relished the opportunity to write as she drives around the state, using the expansive and variable landscape for inspiration in new lyrics and songs.

Kris Nelson is a multi-award winning artist from Albany, with a folk/indie style which is unique and addictive (in a good way).

Not only will they be playing as well but they will be hosting a workshop earlier in the day which is FREE. Tanya will cover the songwriting side of things, divulging her method and tricks to capturing and building a song. Kris will be speaking about post-production prep, a topic many young musicians wouldn't be experienced in, how to be 100% ready before you step into studio.

Kyza spoke about the event on the Breakfast Show at about 5 minutes in...

To put the icing on the cake the event will showcase the styling of local legends John' Ratty' Ratcliff and Laura Petrie. There are hopes Ratty will get the uke out and play some new songs he has been working on...

Tickets are less than $20, drinks are available in the intimate space at the Cannery. It is an inclusive event (only 75 tickets available) so buy your entry TODAY! Just head to kyzapresents.com or canneryartscentre.com.au

And ENJOY WA's finest!
