There's been several near-misses
The Roads and Maritime Service is being told to urgently fix a dangerous hazard on the New England Highway at Maitland.
Drivers say blacked out lane markings are still visible near the train station roundabout, making it very confusing to work out which lane they're actually meant to be in.
It's causing several near-misses.
Maitland MP Jenny Aitchison fears it's a fatal accident waiting to happen.and has asked the Roads Minister to investigate.
The RMS has promised to "review the line marking at this location to determine if any improvement can be made to address this concern raised.”
