"I was surprised"

GoPro footage has captured the exact moment a kite surfer crashes into a shark off the Dominican Republic coast.
Alex Soto, a professional kite surfer, was training in the Cabarete water in the Dominican when the incident happened.
However Mr. Soto says he saw the shark just seconds before the collision and it was too late to avoid the crash.
“I never saw a shark in Cabarete in 14-years, when I saw the sharks I was surprised,” Soto told The West Australian.
“We are invading their habitat, do not be surprised if you see any.”
According to Mr. Soto the shark survived.
