Taylor Hawkins’ 11-year-old son Oliver is already more rock and roll than most people — his father is the drummer from the Foo Fighters after all.

He showed it last weekend when he jumped on the drums and joined his dad and bandmate Dave Grohl to cover the Rolling Stones track Miss You at a Chevy Metal charity gig at Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.

Hawkins Jr has some serious chops already!

Chevy Metal — a cover band featuring Hawkins Sr, Grohl, Wiley Hodgen and Brent Woods — were also joined by some other music legends in Lisa Loeb and Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx on the day.
