Triple M Footy analyst Wayne Carey says that Collingwood should “roll the dice” on key defender Ben Reid ahead of tomorrow’s grand final against West Coast.

There has been some discussion that the Pies may bring in Reid as a late change to combat the Eagles’ key forward combo of Josh Kennedy and Jack Darling, and Duck appeared on Roo and Ditts for Breakfast on Triple M Adelaide and said that Collingwood should strongly consider it.

“It’s almost an insurance policy, isn’t it?” Duck said.

“I mean obviously Goldsack, Riewoldt got a hold of Goldsack last week and late in the game over in Perth Kennedy got hold of him as well.

“He’s done a terrific job but I would actually roll the dice on Reid, I really would.

“Let’s be honest, if you take Kennedy and Darling out of the equation you almost beat West Coast.”
