We Find Out How To Stay Safe On The Beaches This Summer

The weather is starting to heat up in Mackay which means people are starting to hit the beach! 

Jay and Dave wanted to find out whether the life-guards will be on duty to make sure locals are staying safe while cooling off, so they got in touch with Neil John from Sarina Surf Life Saving Club who confirmed the red and yellow flags will be out from this Saturday.  

Neil also shares some handy tips to make sure nobody finds themselves stuck in a rip, the safest areas for swimming and what happens in the event of a pesky marine stinger.
