LISTEN | "I’m waiting for the Premier and the Lord Mayor to come back to me with an answer to my demands"

This morning Marto, Margaux and Nick spoke to Paul Jukes, the climate change protester who is currently hanging from a harness off the underside of Brisbane's Story Bridge.

Paul refused to give details of how he got there for fear of putting anyone at risk.

"If people don’t have the skills I’ve got, they shouldn’t try this sort of stuff, but people should be taking action on climate change in whatever way they’re good at”, he said. 

When asked how long he was planning on staying, Paul replied: "I can stay here for the week if I need to but I’m waiting for the Premier and the Lord Mayor to come back to me with an answer to my demands".
