We Spoke To Kenny, The Tradie Who Won $800k On The Melbourne Cup

A bloke working on the West Gate tunnel won himself close to $800,000 on the Melbourne Cup.

'Kenny' correctly picked the trifecta in Tuesday's Melbourne Cup, after the stewards protest was upheld, seeing El Paradiso finish third behind Vow and Declare and Prince of Arran.

Speaking to The Hot Breakfast this morning, Kenny said he initially hadn't realised his massive win of $793,000 because he was on a date with an old flame!

Kenny also spoke about what he'll spend his winnings on, and whether he'll quit his job.
