Wil Anderson has unearthed a hilarious new detail from the infamous 2009 incident when Jason Dunstall dumped fried rice on Stephen Quartermain live on Triple M Footy on this morning's Hot Breakfast.
Wil pointed out Hamish McLachlan, then a Triple M caller, trying to move the chat along by throwing to Mark Stevens.
It was an admirable effort by Hamish but to no avail, as the stoush continues with Quarters expelling Dunstall from the box in what went on to become an iconic radio moment.
“I never picked up on that either”, Luke Darcy said.
“They tell me one of the funniest parts is that they reckon even right until the end of the day Quarters still had bits of fried rice in his hair!”
