Emergency services rescued a 21 year old man at Mullaway, north of Woolgoolga, after he fell from a cliff on Saturday night.
The Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter arrived at the scene just before 9pm, landing on the headland. Their medical team assisted paramedics to stabilise the man at the base of the headland.
Around 10pm he was winched into the helicopter before being airlifted to Coffs Harbour Base Hospital.
SES, RFS, Police, Fire and Rescue NSW and NSW Ambulance crews were also at the scene after the alarm was raised by a local.
According to NSW Ambulance the man appears to have suffered injuries to his head, chest and abdomen.
