Triple M's Paul Kent is still bemused as to why the Parramatta Eels attempted to strong-arm off-contract captain Clint Gutherson.
Last week on Triple M Sunday NRL, Kenty slammed the Eels for low-balling Gutherson.
"I find it very odd that Clint Gutherson is offered a deal which is the low end of the market and rather than Parramatta come back with a revised offer they withdraw it," Kent said on Triple M.
"That seems to me like a strong arm tactic which is completely ridiculous."
Kenty teed-off once again after Gutherson's stand-out performance in the Eels win over the Sharks on Saturday night.
According to League insider Brent Read, who told Triple M, Gutherson will head to the open market but will still listen to any offer from the Eels.
