Why is it that petrol in Toowoomba is even more expensive than the already ridiculous prices at bowsers across Australia?
Lee Faulkner is joined by Associate Professor Peter Philips who said the price of fuel is a combination of costs which is contributing to the excessive rise in cost per litre.
"Key component of the fuel price, one is the international benchmark price and that is about half of what you pay... then you have half of the excise tax, then you have GST..." Associate Professor Philips said.
