The twice-yearly federal beer tax is set to rise the average pint to $12 this week, with many people calling for a reprieve. 

Premier Peter Malinauskas shares a VERY passionate opinion on this price rise and explains how it relates to inflation.

Ian Horne from the Hotels Association also joins Roo, Ditts & Loz to share his thoughts on what this increase will mean for customers, the industry and what action he'd be taking.

Mark 'Roo' Ricciuto, Chris 'Ditts' Dittmar and Laura O'Callaghan share their thoughts on the topic with the 4% increase on beer to be introduced this week.

Roo believes that in a post-Covid world, Aussies should be able to get out and have fun without worrying about the cost.

"It's not good for the culture of Australia", he said.
