Will Powderfinger Return in 2017?

Aussie rock band Powderfinger have launched a brand new website, having music fans across the country asking when will they reunite?

The new website goes through the history of the iconic Australian band, from their first gig in 1989 to the final tour in November 2010, that saw the band play to over 300,000 nationally and explores what the band are up to now.

The band who called it a day in 2010 stated on the website: “Why the change? Now that we’re no longer playing shows and the like, it was time to build a new site that focused on other things, like the history of Powderfinger and all the music we made together”.

Band member, Darren Middleton also updated his official instagram page with ‘Guitarist, songwriter with Australian band Powderfinger 1991-2010’.

At this year’s ARIA awards, frontman Bernard Fanning responded to the question we all want answered, will Powderfinger reunite with “who knows”, the most positive response from Fanningsince they disbanded.
